1. Overview

SideEye is a local-only browser extension designed to provide Instagram account analytics and insights. We are committed to protecting user privacy and ensuring all data processing happens securely on the user's device.

2. Data Collection & Processing

SideEye processes only the minimum data required to provide its core functionality.

All data is processed locally in the user's browser and is not transmitted to any external servers.

This may include:

• Publicly visible Instagram profile information viewed by the user
• Follower and following data used for analytics purposes
• Profile update information (such as bio or username changes)

All collected data is stored locally in the browser using IndexedDB and remains under the user's control.

3. Data Storage

• All data is stored locally on the user's device
• No cloud storage or external databases are used
• Data remains accessible only within the extension environment
• Uninstalling the extension permanently removes all stored data
